Iello has announced several upcoming releases including Little Red Riding Hood, Me Want Cookies, Nyet, and expansions for Dungeon Fighter and Steam Torpedo.

Planned for September release, Little Red Riding Hood is the latest entry in Purple Brain Creations’ “Tales & Games” series of family games. There are two game modes: in the first players cooperate to reach Grandma’s house before the wolf sees them; in the second, one player takes the role of the wolf.

The game is for 1-5 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $29.99.

Another family game planned for September is Me Want Cookies! The quick, 10 minute game has players take the role of hungry little monsters who want dessert. In each course of the meal, only one monster can eat a dessert, and it has to be the correct dessert.  The first player to spot it gets to eat it.

The game is for 2-5 players, ages 5 and up, and plays in 10 minutes. MSRP is $24.99.

The trick-taking card game Nyet! is planned for October release. In the opening round, players blank out various options (trump, super-trump), which limit the playing conditions for that hand.  Game play varies each round.

The game is for 3-5 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. MSRP is $19.99.

In August, Iello will release the fourth expansion for Dungeon Fighter (see “ IELLO Rescues 'Dungeon Fighter'”), the earth-magic based Rock and Roll.  The expansion contains many new materials, but most are related to the elemental art of earth magic.  As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.

The game is for 1-6 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45-60 minutes. MSRP is $49.99.

Also releasing in August is To Your Positions! a non-collectible booster pack for the two-player underwater submarine battle game Steam Torpedo (see “IELLO Fall Game Round-Up”). The pack includes seven new submarine compartment tiles and three new crew members, allowing for variation in both sub construction and strategy.

The game is for 2 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. MSRP is $14.99. As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.
