Lumberjanes co-creator Noelle Stevenson will no longer co-write the title, she announced on Twitter Monday.  “Got some bittersweet news for y’all:  Lumberjanes #17 is my last issue as a lead writer on Lumberjanes, at least for the time being,” she wrote.  Kat Leyh, of the webcomic Supercakes, will take her place and co-write with co-creator Shannon Waters beginning with #18, out in August. 

Stevenson is writing Runaways for Marvel (see “’Runaways’ by Noelle Stevenson”), and her webcomic Nimona was recently optioned for a film (see “Noelle Stevenson’s ‘Nimona’ Optioned”).
