Privateer Press will release the next expansion book for its Hordes miniature fantasy combat game.  Hordes: Devastation will release in October.

This book features the story of Madrak Ironhide and the dire consequences of his fateful decision to wield the cursed axe, Rathrok, revealed in new narrative tales that pick up where the story left off in Hordes: Exigence (see “'Hordes: Exigence'”).   The book also features new versions of legendary characters, new gargantuans, units, solos, and warbeasts, as well as new Theme Force lists for each new warlock and a painting and modeling guide.

The book will be available in both softcover ($31.99) and hardcover versions ($41.99).

To support the release of the book, Privateer will also offer retailers the Hordes:  Devastation Book Release Event Kit, which includes five metal faction coins and one metal champion coin.
