Principal photography has begun on Robert Kirkman’s paranormal series Outcast, and Cinemax has announced six new cast members, as well as sharing pictures from the set.
Brent Spiner (Star Trek: Next Generation) ,David Denman (13 Hours, Fanboys), Melinda McGraw (The X Files, The Dark Knight), Grace Zabriskie (Twin Peaks), Catherine Dent (The Shield), and Lee Tergesen (The Americans, Defiance) have all joined the cast.
Spiner will play the man who calls himself Sidney, who appears in town soon after Kyle and Reverend Anderson exorcise Joshua Austin. Denman will play police officer Mark Holter, who is married to Kyle Barnes’ sister Megan. McGraw will play single mother Patricia MacCready, a devout member of Reverend Ander’s church. Zabrriskie will play Mildred, a spiteful old parishioner at Anderson’s church. Den will play Janet Anderson, Rev. Anderson’s ex-wife. Tergesen will play a former police officer on death row for the murder of his partner’s wife.
