Marvel has announced a massive deluxe edition box set of its Civil War saga as well as a new Civil War Illustrated Prose Novel for March 2.

The 11-volume Civil War Box Set Slipcase set documents the epic Marvel Civil War crossover storyline including not only the key series titles chronicling the war over the Superhuman Registration Act, but also the impact events had on the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man and other Marvel superheroes. There is also a behind-the-scenes special features volume, and a poster included. MSRP is $500.00.

This new hybrid edition of Stuart Moore’s 2012 novelization of Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Civil War graphic novel will feature nearly 50 images by McNiven and a cover by Steve Epting.  The 400-page hardcover is $49.99.

Both titles offer print versions of the story that will be gracing screens next May in Captain America: Civil War (Geek Movie News Round-Up”).
