Portal Games is planning to release two new products as part of its growing Neuroshima game line:  Neuroshima:  Convoy, 2nd Edition, an asymmetric two-player card game, and the Steel Police expansion for Neuroshima Hex 3.0.  Both titles are scheduled to release in the fourth quarter of this year.

Neuroshima:  Convoy, 2nd Edition is an updated, streamlined, and improved version of Ignacy Trzewiczek’s 2012 game, The Convoy.  In the game, one player controls a convoy of destructive machines bound for New York, while the other attempts to stop it.  The forces in the game are represented by cards, with each player having their own deck of 35 cards.

The game includes 70 cards, 5 city boards, and game tokens.  Neuroshima:  Convoy 2nd Edition is for 2 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in about half an hour.  MSRP is $20.  This edition includes all new graphics.

Steel Police is a new army expansion for the tactical battle game Neuroshima Hex 3.0, designed by Michal Oracz.  The forces included in this expansion are equipped with powerful but dangerous pre-war power armor technology that makes them extremely tough but which damages the wearer when it is used.  This expansion includes 35 army tiles, 2 HQ markers, and 9 other game markers.  As an expansion, a copy of the base game is needed to use Steel Police.  MSRP is $10.  Shipping is expected to begin in October.

Portal Games took over U.S. distribution of Neuroshima Hex from Z-Man games earlier this year (see “‘Imperial Settlers’ Expansion, ‘Neuroshima Hex’ Returns, More”).
