New York Comic-Con News: Warner Bros. Televison has released a New York Comic-Con sizzle reel for the CW’s hit Flash series that is loaded with action-packed scenes from the new second season of the series.  At Comic-Con in San Diego WBTV released another sizzle reel that recapped the action in Season 1 and also revealed that Zoom and the original Flash Jay Garrick would be making his appearance in the series during season 2 (see “Flash Comic-Con Reel Reveals Zoom as 2nd Season Antagonist”). The NYCC sizzle reel differs in its emphasis on the second season of the Scarlet Speedster current TV run.

Another key revelation about the new season of The Flash comes from set photo from the production of Season 2 of The Flash, which appeared on Reddit and indicates that Mark Hamill, who appears with an unidentified crew member, will reprise his role as The Trickster in the new season of the hot CW superhero series.  Hamill played The Trickster in a March-airing episode of The Flash entitled “Tricksters.”  The actor also played the same character in the 1990 Flash TV series that starred John Wesley Shipp.

The opening episode of the second season of The Flash managed to attract a solid 3.42 million viewers.
