The Hollywood adaptation of Tim Seeley’s Hack/Slash Image horror comic series has moved from film to TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The long-gestating film (see “'Hack/Slash' Gets Third Director”) is now set up at Relativity Television, which spun off from Relativity media recently under new ownership.  A new script is in the works by Skip Woods, whose writing credits include Hitman, the more recent Hitman: Agent 47, The A-Team reboot, Swordfish, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  Woods will also executive produce the series, along with Adrian Askarieh, and Ray Ricord.

The series producers are currently looking for directors, with plans to emulate the gritty horror realism of The Walking Dead.
