Alderac Entertainment Group continues its series of small box card games with Isaac Shalev’s Ravenous River, a game of bluffing and survival, releasing in February 2016.

In the game, the players are various animals intent on crossing a dangerous river by riding across in boats with other animals.  But, some animals are predators, seeking to snack on their favorite prey along the way.  The identity of each player is hidden during the game, so they must try to deduce who hope to eat them and maneuver their animal onto the same boat as their favorite prey.  Players earn points by crossing the river, eating their own prey, and avoiding being eaten by the predators.

Ravenous River includes 28 game cards, 8 vote tokens, 2 boat cards, and 36 victory point tokens.  The game is for 2 - 7 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about 20 minutes.  MSRP is $9.99.
