Brian Michael Bendis will write a second Iron Man title, International Iron Man, part of the All-New All-Different Marvel debuting after the end of Secret Wars, according to Entertainment Weekly.  Bendis will collaborate on the new series with artist Alex Maleev, launching early in 2016.

The series joins Bendis’ other Iron Man title, Invincible Iron Man, which he’s doing with David Marquez (see “Bendis and Marquez on ‘Invincible Iron Man’”), and puts Marvel’s top writer on the character at the center of the All-New All-Different Marvel universe.  As Bendis describes him in the EW interview, Stark is now “the crown jewel of the Disney-Marvel empire.”

As per the title, the storyline will be set in a variety of countries as Tony Stark has globe-trotting adventures and searches for his biological parents (he’s recently discovered he’s adopted).  Translated international distribution is also planned for the series, with over 20 international editions slated.

Bendis previously collaborated with Maleev on a long run of Daredevil in the early 00s.
