Maleev variant cover

Cloonan (American Virgin, Demo, Gotham Academy )will write, with art by Dillon (Hellblazer, Preacher, Punisher ). The first issue will have a variant cover by Alex Maleev (pictured here).

The story will see the vigilante Frank Castle visiting New York City as he tracks the source of a new synthetic drug that is destroying his hometown.  Then a lead sends him on a bloody rampage across the Northeast.  

Jon Bernthal was cast this summer to play Frank Castle on the second season the Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil (see “Punisher Cast”).
