APE Entertainment has begun releasing new Sesame Street print and digital comics, and plans a graphic novel collection in January.

Three new periodical comics (Another Sunny Day, Blast from the Past, and Many Friendly Neighbors) and one reprint from 2013 (H if for Hero) will be released between now and the end of January.  A trade paperback collection, Sesame Street – Comical Comic Collection, will be available on January 27.

Elmo, Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover and more appear in multiple stories featuring pop culture spoofs similar to the original PBS TV series.  Each issue will include a parents' feature, showing how parents can engage with their children for a shared reading experience.

Each issue has a MSRP of $3.99, with the collection having an MSRP of $16.99.

APE acquired a license from the Children’s Television Workshop in 2012 (see “ Ape Takes a Walk on 'Sesame Street'”), but has been largely inactive the last few years.
