The first volume in CFV’s new Technical Booster series, The Reckless Rampage will have a similar format to the existing Clan Boosters, but includes cards specifically designed to boost more than one clan. In this case, the Tachikaze, Spike Brothers, and Nubatama clans are featured, along with the Stride power.
The set includes 75 different cards, including 3 GR, 6 RRR, 12 RR, 21 R, and 33 C cards, as well as 12 SP parallel cards. Two of the cards in the set will be reissues, the other 73 cards are new to the game. Cards are packaged 7 per booster, which will include one R and one R-or-above card. MSRP is $4.50.
The Reckless Rampage boosters are sold in displays of 12 boosters each. Each display also includes 1 PR card.
Retailers that choose to host pre-release events may do so on the weekend of February 12 -14. A Sneak Preview Kit will be available to those stores, which includes 32 booster packs (4 packs per participant), 9 promo cards, and 2 premium rubber playmats.
The release of The Reckless Rampage will follow two January releases: Moonlit Dragonfang and Fighters Collection (see “New ‘Cardfight!! Vanguard G’ Releases For New Year”). The Soul Strike Against the Supreme set, released last month, has shown the value of multi-clan booster sets, with a variety of cards proving popular for collectors (see “Top 10 ‘Cardfight Vanguard!!
