Netflix has released a new trailer for Marvel’s Jessica Jones, which gets to the meat of the conflict by showcasing the Purple Man’s evil intentions.

Much less atmospheric than the previous trailer (see “Full Netflix 'Jessica Jones' Trailer”), this video ramps up the action and revels in the dark humor of the show.

The entire series premieres on Netflix on November 20.
