Singh previously worked as a Licensing Manager at Universify, a global business development and strategic branding organization, managing high-profile accounts including J.Lo, Marc Anthony, and Gottex. Prior to that she was a Licensing Associate at Hearst’s King Features Syndicate, where she aided in the company’s licensing for iconinc properties including Popeye, Betty Boop, and Flash Gordon.
Valiant has been increasing its licensing in the last year, adding partners including Catalyst Game Labs, Diamond Select Toys and collectibles, Dynamic Forces, and more (see “ICv2 Interview: Valiant CEO and COO”). This spring, the company announced an investment deal with Chinese company DMG Entertainment for film and TV production based on Valiant characters (see “Valiant Gets Major Investment”), which was followed by an announcement of a movie production deal with Sony Pictures (see “Sony Plans Five Valiant Films”).
