Wizard World, Inc. is launching its first  gaming event with Wizards World Gaming in Atlanta in January, and will be adding tabletop and video game content to select Wizard Comic Cons in 2016.

The Atlanta convention will include celebrity guests Billy Mitchell (The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters), Walter Day (founder, Twin Galaxies), voice actors Yuri Lowenthal (Ben 10, Fallout 4, Skylanders) and Tara Platt (Pillars of Eternity, Skylanders , Sailor Moon Crystal).  It will also feature a Retro gaming area which will include the mech combat Steel Battalion, VR Oculus experience,  and a “History of Gaming and Retro Game Lounge” with a variety of console game classics from Atari to Xbox.

After the Atlanta solo kickoff event, Wizard World Gaming conventions will coincide with the more general pop culture/comic book-themed Wizard World Comic Con shows in select cities in 2016. The game convention content will include pro-gamer invitationals, casual tournaments, eSports, celebrity guest panels, retro gaming, meet & greets, and more.  

The cities which will feature Wizard World Gaming events in 2016 are: Portland, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Sacramento, Orlando, Chicago, and Austin.
