The core of the new set is the Heroes of Normandie Compendium, edited by Croc (Conan, Claustrophobia). This hardcover book will be a collection of all of the different rules from the other titles in the Heroes of Normandie line, including the scenario packs, gazettes, and official pdfs, in addition to the main rulebook. Some refinements and clarifications to the rules will also be included. Along with the Compendium there will be a number of scenario sheets, including both previously published and new scenarios, and game play aids with summaries of game mechanics such as terrain.
To help players organize their game components, a set of cardboard storage boxes will round out the product. These will include a Core Box Storage Solution for the base game, boxes for German, US, and UK units, and deck boxes with sleeves.
The MSRP for Strategic Resupply has not yet been announced.
Devil Pig Games is currently seeking funding through Kickstarter for this project. The campaign has raised over 150,000 Euros (about $160,000) from more than 1500 backers. The campaign will end in two days.
Heroes of Normandie has proven to be a critical success for Iello and Devil Pig, winning an Origins Award for "Best Historical Board Game" (see "2015 Origins Award Winners") and a mention in a recent "Year’s Best" list in the magazine Popular Mechanics (see "Two 'Best New Games of 2015' Lists").
