Dark Horse has acquired rights to CLAMP’s first manga, RG Veda, and will begin releasing the work in omnibus form with the first 600+-page volume on August 3. Begun in Japan in 1989, acquired by Tokyopop in 2003 (see “Tokyopop Nabs Five CLAMP Titles”), and eventually launched in 05 (see “Tokyopop Schedules Six Launches”), the series has an august history but has been out of print in North America for some time.
The omnibus series will run three volumes. RG Veda Omnibus Volume 2 will street November 2.
