Writer Steve Orlando is no stranger to DC. He is the writer on DC’s ongoing Midnighter series, which debuted in mid-2015, and also worked on Justice League Darkseid War: Shazam.
Artist Evan “Doc” Shaner, who was recently designated as the artist on Future Quest with writer Jeff Parker, is also no stranger to DC, having provided art for Adventures of Superman, Convergence: Shazam, and Justice League: Darkseid War: Green Lantern. The same is true for Spanish artist Jesus Merino, who has been providing art to DC for 15 years, working on a wide variety of titles including Superman, Justice League: Darkseid War: The Flash, The New 52 Future’s End, and The Flash to name a few.
