Portland-based Oni Press releases a curated line of comics and graphic novels including Scott Pilgrim, Queen & Country, Courtney Crumrin, Wasteland, The Sixth Gun, Stumptown, Wet Moon, Letter 44, The Bunker, Nickelodeon’s Invader ZIM and Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. Oni is run by founder and publisher Joe Nozemack and Editor-in-Chief James Lucas Jones.
“We're very excited to be working with IDW to bring Oni Press titles to international audiences,” Nozemack said. “With the explosive growth in the influence, visibility, and demand for comic book content worldwide there are more opportunities than ever to license our titles outside of the US.”
IDW International announced a similar deal with Archie Comics in January (see “IDW Announces New Foreign Rights Division”).
