Dark Horse Comics has promoted Kari Yadro to Director of Custom Programs.
In her new position, Yadro will serve as the head of the Dark Horse custom publishing and products program, managing business-to-business development, fostering new licensed publishing programs with custom publishing clients for new properties, and developing co-marketing programs with entertainment partners.
"I’m excited to have Kari join the licensing team to manage our custom programs," said Nick McWhorter, Dark Horse’s VP of media licensing. "With her years of experience managing all aspects of events like San Diego Comic-Con, I’m confident Kari will excel in her new role working with our many clients and licensors on new and ongoing projects."
Yadro began her career at Dark Horse Comics in September 2010 as an events manager, being promoted to director of conventions and events in December 2013. Prior to her work with Dark Horse, Yadro spent eight years at Barnes & Noble as a community relations manager.
