Iello will release two new games designed by Antoine Bauza this August: Oceanos and Welcome Back to the Dungeon.

In the set collection and card drafting game Oceanos, players are piloting submarines as they search for rare oceanic animals, lost treasures and pearls. Players upgrade their subs throughout the game to explore deeper depths and score exploration points for the animals they spot and the speed of their craft. Players can also score additional points by discovering coral reefs and unearthing treasure.

The box contains 75 submarine pieces, 135 exploration cards, 15 fuel tokens, 9 kraken tokens, 5 scuba diver tokens, 30 treasure tokens, 1 opaque bag, 5 player aids, 1 scorebook and 1 rulebook. The game is for 2 -5 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP was not announced.

Welcome Back to the Dungeon is designed by Bauza and Masato Uesugi. This push-your-luck dungeon crawl is a stand-alone expansion for Welcome to the Dungeon (see “Five New Games From Iello”). Players take turns daring each other to go into the dungeon, with a diminishing amount of equipment and an ever-growing hoard of monster cards to face down.  The Welcome Back edition adds four new characters and special monsters that can be used with or without the base game.

The box contains 13 monster cards, 28 tiles, 4 player aids, 8 success cards  and 1 rulebook. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.  MSRP was not announced.

Iello just announced a new preorder policy which gives FLGS a two-week head start on release dates (see “Iello Unveils New Preorder Policy”).
