IDW Publishing will release a new hardcover edition of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows, illustrated by Eisner award-winning Mouse Guard creator David Petersen.
The 256-page unabridged hardcover edition was designed and illustrated by Petersen over the course of three years. The book will feature 20 color illustrations and 50 pen-and-ink illustrations, as well as custom pen and ink headers for each chapter. The cloth cover will have gold foil stamping. The 8" x 10" hardcover will have an MSRP of $24.99. Release is planned for October.
Diamond will also feature a preorder exclusive for the direct market edition: each copy will include a tip-in plate illustrated and signed by Petersen, limited to orders received.
