Twentieth Century Fox has released a new trailer for Tim Burton’s adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

The movie is based on the book by Ransom Riggs, which was also adapted into a graphic novel by Cassandra Jean (see “Review: 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: The Graphic Novel' HC”). When Jake discovers clues to a mystery which spans alternate realities and timescapes, he uncovers Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, a refuge for children with unusual abilities. He is soon enlisted to safeguard the residents from a looming threat.

The cast includes Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, with Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film opens in theaters on September 30 (see “Best in Shows--Q3 2016”).
