Marvel will finally address all the unanswered questions surrounding the fate of the Mutants and the Inhumans in the wake of Secret Wars in the upcoming miniseries Death of X.
The four-issue series will be written by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule, with art by Aaron Kuder. Launching in October, the story will pick up as the Terrigen Mists roll across the Earth, birthing new Inhumans as it progresses. But the mists also spell doom for the X-Men, who are left sick or dying in its wake. The X-Men travel to Muir Island to find the cloud has caused something horrible, and now Cyclops must take action or face extinction.
