The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund welcomed VIZ Media LLC as the CBLDF’s latest corporate member.  In addition to the usual obligations associated with corporate membership, Viz Media has partnered with the CBLDF to co-release The Manga Book Club Handbook, a resource dedicated to helping retailers and librarians unite their communities of manga readers.  Digital copies of the handbook are available on CBLDF Website.

The CBLDF provides legal and educational resources to protect the freedom to read comic.  Among the organization’s many comics-promoting initiative is the recent announcement of the October publication of the definitive history of the women who changed comics (see "CBLDF Presents 'She Changed Comics'").
