Bits and Mortar is an alliance of publishers focused on supporting brick and mortar game stores by providing free PDFs of books customers purchase in stores from participating publishers. The non-profit organization was founded in 2010 by Arc Dream Publishing, Cellar Games, Cubicle 7, Evil Hat Productions, Pelgrane Press, and Rogue Games.
