The series was originally printed as large 9” x 12” books. The new editions will be 6” x 9” and will feature new covers illustrated by Allison. The series will continue to be printed in the original larger format as well as the new Pocket Editions.

The first edition to be printed in Pocket Edition will be Bad Machinery Vol. 1: The Case of the Team Spirit. Release is planned for March 15, 2017 with an MSRP of $10.00. The story follows Jack, Linton, Sonny, Shauna, Charlotte, and Mildred, who explore mysteries in their peculiar English town of Tackleford.

The series has received several accolades including receiving the British Comic Awards – Best Comic (whole series) in 2012, being named to Publishers Weekly’s Best Children’s Book list in 2013, and appearing on the Great Graphic Novels for Teens list in 2014,2015, and 2016.
