Cartoon Network stalwart Regular Show will end after its eighth season, which begins September 26, according to Deadline. The show accumulated five Emmy nominations and one win during its run to date.
The eighth season will tell the story of an intergalactic battle of good vs. evil, with Mordecai and Rigby joined by Pops, Benson, Muscle Man, and Skips.
Created by JG Quintel, the show has also spawned licensing, including a long-running comic from BOOM! Studios, which wraps up with #40 on October 5; an art book from Titan Books; and a Regular Show version of Fluxx from Looney Labs.
