Alcon Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel to 1982’s Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049.
Alcon released the film’s synopsis: Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
The film stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, and Jared Leto (see “Mid-August Geek Movie Round-Up”), directed by Denis Villeneuve and executive produced by Ridley Scott.
The movie is due in theaters on October 6, 2017 (see “Best in Shows--Q4 2017”).
