Ultra PRO’s Jolly Roger Games will release 13 Minutes: The Cuban Missile Crisis and Road Hog: Rule the Road on February 28.
The spiritual successor to 13 Days: The Cuban Missile Crisis (see "Ultra PRO Acquires Jolly Roger Games"), 13 Minutes: The Cuban Missile Crisis, 1962 is also designed by Asger Harding Granerud and Daniel Skjold Pedersen. The card-driven microgame pits two players against one another in a battle of touch decisions. Playing as either Kennedy or Khrushchev, players must pick five strategy cards that they place as influence on various battlegrounds to score majorities or manipulate the ever-changing fields of conflict.
The game is for 2 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 13 minutes. MSRP is $10.00.
Road Hog: Rule the Road is a hand management game where players compete to be the first to race their vehicle from one end of the highway to the other. The board, composed of seven road tiles, is set up, and then players use a hand of three cards and two dice to manipulate existing traffic on the road so they can be the first to reach the exit ramp.
The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $30.00.
