Bushiroad announced it will cease production on the English edition of its trading card game Luck & Logic after the release of the Trance Re:union expansion on March 31 (see "'Luck & Logic: Trance Re:union'").
Bushiroad will continue to support monthly shop tournaments with PR card prizes until the end of December 2017. The Luck & Logic Regional Championships will still be held in eight locations worldwide as part of the Bushiroad Championship Series 2017 (see "Bushiroad Championship Series 2017"). The winner of each Regional Championship will receive a fully sponsored invitation to compete in the 2018 World Finals in Japan.
In the Japanese edition tournament scene, a new rule allowing English edition cards for Japanese edition tournaments held outside Japan will go into effect on February 1. English edition tournaments are still limited to English edition cards only.
Bushiroad confirmed that the anime series Luck & Logic will receive a second season, and the broadcast schedule will be available at a later date. FUNimation has the North American streaming rights (see "'Luck & Logic' TCG and Anime").
Panini America also recently announced it was canceling a trading card game (see "'Dragon Ball Z TCG' Ceases Production").
