Monte Cook Games has shared details for Numenera: Ninth World Bestiary 2, a brilliantly illustrated monster gallery for use with their Numenera RPG.

This hardcover book is illustrated in full color throughout its 192-pages exploring the unique fantasy setting of Numenera.  It covers 170 new creatures, and includes GM advice for using the creatures (and creating one's own).  It features a variety of bizarre creatures from the Ninth World's far-future, post-apocalyptic ecology, including transdimensional creatures, mechanical automatons, extraterrestrials, parasites, and more.  It releases May; MSRP is $44.99.

This release is scheduled just after their planned release of Cypher System: Expanded Worlds in April (see "'Cypher System' Pushes the Limits of Genre").
