Dark Horse announced three new art collections based on Cartoon Network properties Rick and Morty, The Venture Bros., and Over the Garden Wall.

The Art of Rick and Morty is written by James Siciliano, with art by Justin Roiland, James McDermott, Jason Boesch, Carlos Ortega, and Andrew DeLange. The book chronicles the animated sci-fi adventures of Rick the sociopathic genius scientist Rick and his timid grandson Marty through time and space. The book features intimate commentary from the show’s creators (Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland), as well as exclusive process, concept and production art.  The 208-page hardcover has an MSRP of $39.99. The book will release on September 12.

Go Team Venture!: The Art and Making of The Venture Bros. chronicles the animated black comedy The Venture Bros. which ran on Cartoon Network’s late night programming block Adult Swim. The show was created by Christopher McCulloch (Jackson Publick). Writer Ken Plume sits down with McCulloch and writer/executive producer Doc Hammer to have in-depth conversations about the creation of every episode, from all six seasons and four specials. The book also includes a foreword by Patton Oswalt, who voiced Wonder Boy for the series. The 184-page hardcover has an MSRP of $39.99. Release is planned for August 23.

The Art of Over The Garden Wall is a look at the production and development art for the award-winning animated miniseries Over the Garden Wall created by Patrick McHale. The miniseries aired on Cartoon Network in November 2014, and received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program in 2015. Writer Dean Edgar interviews McHale and director Nick Cross, as well as the cast and crew of the production. The book includes hundreds of pieces of concept art and sketches, as well as a look at art from the 2013 short film Tome of the Unknown: Harvest melody which was the series’ pilot. The 184-page hardcover has an MSRP of $39.99. Release is scheduled for September 13.
