At the GAMA Trade Show, Renegade Game Studios announced Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Card Game, a licensed deck-building game based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s bestselling graphic novel series from Oni Press.

The game is designed by Keith Baker (Gloom) and illustrated by O’Malley. Players take the role of a character in the Scott Pilgrim universe and face their most epic challenge yet – growing up and becoming a responsible adult… or not. Each unique starting deck contains problems that must be confronted, and the double-sided cards offer two options: the grown-up way of working things out with hard work and empathy, or embracing the unpredictable world of gratuitous video game violence as conflict resolution.

Th game includes 222 double-sided cards, which include 6 unique starting character decks (10 cards each), 6 oversized character cards, and 5 oversized evil ex cards. The game is for 2 – 6 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 45 – 60 minutes. MSRP is $45.00. Release is planned for summer.

"Scott Pilgrim is an incredibly popular graphic novel series because it is so relatable, " Renegade President Scott Gaeta said. "Renting your first apartment, falling in love, and getting a job are things everyone's gone through. Keith Baker has done an incredible job recreating these life choices in a deck-building format while incorporating the video game style button-mashing combo moves that we loved in the graphic novel fight scenes. "

"Invite your friends! Throw a pizza party! But don't get the cards greasy," Bryan O'Malley added.
