On August 4, Konami Digital Entertainment will release the Code of the Duelist booster expansion for its long-running Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
Code of the Duelist continues the themes of the 2017 Starter Deck, with a focus on techno-monsters and the Link Summon game mechanic. This expansion continues the trend introduced with Link Monsters and the latest rules updates to put a greater emphasis on the location where cards are played.
The new booster expansion will feature three new Link Monsters, the first new Lightsworn monsters added to the game since 2016, and new versions of cards from the Pendulum Domination Structure Deck. The complete set will include 100 new cards with the following rarities: 48 common, 20 rare, 14 super rare, 10 ultra rare, and 8 secret rare. Code of the Duelist will be available in 9-card booster packs with an MSRP of $3.99 each. Boosters will be sold in 24-pack displays.
The Pendulum Domination booster expansion will precede Code of the Duelist, releasing on June 23 (see “‘Pendulum Evolution’ Booster Expansion”).
