Rising Sun has surpassed CMON’s previous two Top 10 Kickstarter entries: Zombicide: Black Plague and Massive Darkness. The mythical miniatures game is set in feudal Japan, where players compete as clans attempting to dominate the land with a mix of politics, strength and honor (see "CMON Reveals Eric Lang's 'Rising Sun'"). CMON recently announced it has hired Lang to be the company’s Director of Game Design (see "Designer Eric M. Lang Joins CMON"). The campaign attracted more than 31,000 backers with an average pledge of $135.25.
