Q-Workshop has made licensed dice sets for Knight Model’s Batman Miniature Game, Fantasy Flight Games’ Arkham Horror, Paizo’s Pathfinder RPG, Cubicle 7’s Doctor Who and The One Ring RPGs, Monte Cook Games Numenera, The Strange,  and Cypher System RPGs,  and Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu RPG. The company produces several metal dice sets (Steampunk, Tech, Dwarven) and in 2015 produced a licensed Pathfinder Metal RPG Dice Set, funded via a Kickstarter campaign that raised nearly $300,000 from almost 2,400 backers (averaging $125.46 / backer).

Q-Workshop has now produced a detailed and terrifying metal dice set for Call of Cthulhu, which is currently being funded on Kickstarter. The campaign has raised well over its $50,000 goal, and runs through Saturday April 15. The set contains 7 dice: 1xD4, 1xD6, 1xD8, 1xD10, 1xD12, 1xD20 and 1xD100 (percentile). The dice are made of tin and painted black. The numbers and ornaments (which include tentacle edges and fanged maws on the points) are engraved. The dice are between 16.8  - 19.8 mm, and the set ways 5.75 oz. Q-Workshop stated that all their dice are manufactured in Poland to avoid delays and quality control issues with foreign production.

Q-Workshop told ICv2 that Pathfinder dice are the company’s biggest line, since it produces a new set for every Pathfinder Adventure Path (it has currently produced 19). The (plastic) Call of Cthulhu dice sets are its top seller overall. Plastic dice sets range from $10 - $20.00 MSRP, metal sets range from $40 - $100.00 MSRP. The Call of Cthulhu Metal Dice Set is currently available on Kickstarter for a $69.00 pledge (plus shipping). Q-Workshop told ICv2 that they do plan a trade release. The MSRP is not set, but will tentatively be in $79 -$89.00 range. (The metal Pathfinder dice were not released into trade.)
