CMON’s highly anticipated dungeon crawl epic Massive Darkness will be supported by eight expansion sets following its release, which has been pushed back to Q3.

Originally scheduled for the second quarter (see “‘Massive Darkness’ From CMON”), Massive Darkness combines a small army of the plastic figures that CMON is known for with a fully-cooperative gamemaster-less dungeon crawl.  The recipe of minis plus game continues to be a huge success for CMON, with Massive Darkness claiming the #7 spot on ICv2’s coveted top 10 Kickstarter Projects list (see “Game Reprint Scores on Top 10 Tabletop Kickstarter Chart”).

The game itself promises to be massive as well, weighing in with 75 plastic miniatures, 280 cards, 111 tokens, 6 pads of class sheets, 9 double-sided tiles, and more—everything1 to 6 players ages 14 and up need for a 90-minute long dungeon dive.  The final product’s MSRP will be an equally hefty $119.99.

The new game will be amply supported right out the gate, with eight expansion sets also planned for Q3 release:
