On May 20 – 21, LeftField Media and Clutter Magazine hosted the first Five Points Festival, a new show focusing on designer toys and comic art in New York City.

Presented by Midtown Comics, the show was held inside Pier 36, on the Lower East Side, and featured two days of events, counterculture, and designer toys, including a marketplace full of one-of-a-kind vinyl and plastic toys, plush, resin, blind boxes, graphic novels, kaiju, prints, apparel and more.  The show was announced late last year (see “LeftField Media News Round-Up”).

The exhibitors included well-known companies like Kidrobot and DC Collectibles, and guests like comics writer Amy Chu (Poison Ivy, Red Sonja, KISS) and Simone Legno co-founder and creative director of tokidoki.
