Players take the roles of operatives teamed up to complete missions in the dark depths of Alpha – The City of a Thousand Planets. Players must work together to complete their mission objectives while overcoming the obstacles and evading the enemy. The enemy is constantly deploying tracking beacons to locate the team, which must be eliminated by team members at the same time the players attempt to complete their missions. The players must accumulate 20 mission points and make it back to the extraction site before the enemies manage to accumulate 20 tracking points and capture the team. The tile-based exploration pieces ensure that every mission map will be unique.
The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 11 and up, and plays in 30 – 45 minutes. MSRP is $45.00. The game will premiere at Gen Con and release to trade in September.
