Dark Horse has an evil winter in store for Hellboy and friends with three releases focused on Mignola-verse villains.

Rasputin: Voice of the Dragon is a five-issue miniseries from writers Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson (iZombie). Drawn by Christopher Mitten with colors by Dave Stewart and covers by Mike Huddleston, the miniseries is a prequel that explains how Rasputin came to be in league with the Nazis before encountering the man who would found the BPRD. The first issue is in stores November 29.

Hellboy: Krampusnacht One-Shot teams up Mike Mignola and artist Adam Hughes. Both provide covers for the one-shot, which finds Hellboy taking on Santa’s evil counterpart, Krampus. The one-shot goes on sale December 20.

Mignola writes and covers Koshchei the Deathless, with Baltimore artist Ben Stenbeck on illustration duties. The six-issue miniseries recounts the horrible acts in Koshchei’s past before he became enslaved to Baba Yaga. The first issue goes on sale January 10, 2018.

Hellboy will also make an appearance in Halloween ComicFest on Saturday, October 28. Hellboy and the BPRD 1953 is among the free full-size comics being released for the event (see “Halloween ComicFest Goodies Announced”).
