San Diego Comic-Con News: At the DC Master Class panel surprise guest Frank Miller announced that he was writing a Superman origin story. Miller confessed to a long held desire to work on the Man of Steel, and called his current assignment writing Superman: Year One, “the opportunity of a lifetime.” John Romita Jr., who became the penciller on DC’s flagship Superman title starting with issue #32 back in 2014, will draw Miller’s Superman saga.
DC released a photo from the panel on Twitter showing Miller making his appearance.
