Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are bringing together two pop culture icons to voice the title characters in a new animated feature.

Batman Vs. Two-Face features TV’s original Batman, Adam West, voicing the title role. Playing opposite West is the original Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, in the role of conflicted villain Two-Face. The animated film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on October 17 (MSRP $24.98 and $19.98, respectively).

Burt Ward and Julie Newmar, also beloved alums of the 1960s Batman TV show, will voice Robin and Catwoman.

A sequel to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders (see “DVD Round-Up: 'Star Trek Beyond,' 'Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders,' 'Bad Moms,' & 'Anthropoid'”), the film puts the Caped Crusader and Boy Wonder back into 1960s-era action as they battle Two-Face, Catwoman, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Bookworm, Hugo Strange, and King Tut.

West passed away in June (see “Adam West, TV's Batman, Passes Away”), which means Batman Vs. Two-Face is among the revered actor’s last pieces of voice work. The special features for the animated feature include footage of the Adam West tribute panel at Comic-Con International.
