Victory Point Games and Game Salute are partnering to release a new printing for Nemo’s War Second Edition as well as an the Nautilus Upgrades Expansion Pack. The project is currently being funded via Kickstarter.

Chris Taylor’s popular game, inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, casts players in the role of Captain Nemo, helming his famous Nautilus submarine. Players explore the oceans to find treasures, advance science, and disrupt imperial powers throughout the world on a quest for knowledge and vengeance (see “Victory Point Launches 'Nemo's War'”). The game is for 1 – 4 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 60 – 120 minutes. MSRP is $75.00.

The Nautilus Upgrades Expansion Pack includes 12 new Nautilus upgrade cards (including the Clockwork Cipher, the Adventurer’s League, Nemo’s Manifesto, and Prize Crew Quarters) and a rules booklet. MSRP is $8.00.

The first printing of Nemo’s War: Second Edition was funded via Kickstarter in January 2016, where it raised $239,918 from 3,007 backers ($79.79/ backer average). The game is currently sold out in most markets, and is selling for more than initial retail price in the secondary market.

The current Kickstarter has raised $108,794 from 3, 471 backers ($31.34 /backer average), well over its initial $30,000 goal. The campaign will run through December 21. Backer fulfillment is scheduled for September 2018.
