The upcoming Milk Wars crossover will lead DC’s Young Animal imprint in new directions. Each title is being sent back to #1, and there are a few changes in store.

Young Animal adds a new title with the Eternity Girl miniseries from Magdalene Visaggio (Kim & Kim) and Eisner Award-winning artist Sonny Liew (The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye). Caroline Sharp, a former superhero and super-spy whose powers have left her both immortal and horribly disfigured, sets out to destroy the universe starting on March 7.

Shade will grow up with a title change from Shade, The Changing Girl to Shade, The Changing Woman. Writer Cecil Castellucci and artist Marley Zarcone will continue to helm the series, during which Loma will shed her past life and explore a new one. Shade, The Changing Woman #1 is due in stores March 7.

Jon Rivera and artist Michael Avon Oeming continue on Cave Carson Has An Interstellar Eye, which finds the multiverse-hopping Cave Carson and his daughter Chloe sucked into the future and a new adventure when they go spelunking in a black hole. Cave Carson #1 is on shelves on March 21.

Mother Panic: Gotham A.D. continues the Gotham City adventures of Violet Paige, but fast-forwards ten years into the future, putting Gotham and Batman in the hands of the Collective and presenting a city with zero tolerance for caped crusaders. Writer Jody Houser and artist Tommy Lee Edwards continue on the series, with artist Ibrahim Moustafa (Savage Things) joining the team. The first issue is due March 28.

Gerard Way (Umbrella Academy) has been curating the Young Animal imprint for DC since 2016 (see “DC Announces Gerard Way Pop-Up Imprint”). The five-issue Milk Wars crossover event kicks off on January 31, teaming up the various Young Animal titles with heroes from the DC Universe (see “DC's Young Animals Go to 'Milk Wars'”).
