Titan Comics is taking the Fighting American on a fresh adventure in March. Fighting American: The Ties that Bind comes from writer Gordon Rennie (2000AD, Fighting American) and illustrator Andie Tong (Spider-Man, TEKKEN). Iconic Superman artist Jerry Ordway provides a cover for the first issue. The issue also sports a cover from Fighting American co-creator Jack Kirby and a cover from Tong.

Titan relaunched the Fighting American’s adventures earlier this year (see “Joe Simon And Jack Kirby's 'Fighting American' Returns”). Titan acquired the rights to the character for a series of books celebrating Joe Simon’s career and collaborations with Jack Kirby (see “Titan to Publish Joe Simon Volumes”). Titan also released a collection of original Fighting American material in 2011 (see “Review: 'Fighting American' TP”).
