DC Comics has revealed the look of the pop-up shop it plans to open in Washington, D.C. next weekend as part of its DC in D.C. event. The shop will be open to the public for three days over the Martin Luther King Day holiday weekend, January 12-14. The store will be located in front of the Newseum, between the Capitol and the White House. The DC in D.C. event includes panel discussion, and screenings at the Newseum on Friday and Saturday.
The 40 ft. x 10 ft. store will offer DC’s Top 50 graphic novels, exclusive t-shirts, and DC Funko Pop! Figures. Other store features include giant comic panels, Jitters Coffee, costumes from DC’s TV shows, a Black Lightning Charging Station, a 15' x 9' screen with video clips and motion comics, talent appearances by Jim Lee, Tom King, Geoff Johns, and the casts of Gotham and Black Lightning.
