Portal Games will bolster its Retailer Support Program with the Alien Artifacts: Discovery Early Launch Kit and Robinson Cruso: In-Store Event Kit in March.

Alien Artifacts: Discovery is the first expansion for the 4X style card game Alien Artifacts (see “Four New Titles from Portal Games”). The Alien Artifacts: Discovery Expansion Pack moves the storyline out into the universe and introduces Alien Resources cards. MSRP is $16.00.  Brick and Mortar stores can order the Alien Artifacts: Discovery Early Launch Kit 2018 and get 10 copies of the game expansion, 10 promo materials, and a poster. The product will arrive two weeks before the official release date. Portal will also be marketing the Early Launch to drive game fans into their FLGS. MSRP is $89.00. Release date is March 3.

Robinson Crusoe is one of Portal Games evergreen titles, and now the publisher will release a new event kit for the cooperative game of castaways surviving on a remote island. The Robinson Crusoe: In-Store Event Kit 2018 includes a unique scenario about time travel, 8 new player characters, 4 sets of custom wooden food resource pieces, and a poster to advertise game night.  MSRP is $15.00. Release is planned for March 21.

Portal debuted the Retailer Support Program last summer (see “Portal Games Launches 'Retailer Support Program'”). It is releasing a new In-Store Event Kit for Imperial Settlers in February (see “'Imperial Settlers' Gets 2018 'In-Store Event Kit'”).
