Several of Mark Millar’s stories of the Man of Steel are being collected into one volume. The 280-page trade paperback will be on sale May 30 for an MSRP of $29.99.

Sean Phillips (Criminal), Mike Wieringo (The Flash, Fantastic Four), Georges Jeanty (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Jackson Guice (Swords of the Swashbucklers) are among the artists in Superman by Mark Millar. Black Panther artist Brian Stelfreeze provides a cover. The trade collects Superman: Team Superman #1; Tangent Comics: The Superman #1; Superman Adventures #19, 25-27, 30, 31, 36, 52; and material from Superman 80-Page Giant #2 and DC One Million 80-Page Giant #1,000,000.

Millar won multiple Eisners for his run on Superman Adventures in 2000, wining the award for Best Writer and sharing the award for Best Title for a Younger Audience.

Shortly before the release of Superman by Mark Millar, DC will celebrate an important milestone: the 1000th issue of Action Comics, the title that introduced the Kryptonian to the world. DC is releasing both an oversized 1000th issue and commemorative hardcover in April (see “DC to Release Lost Siegel and Shuster Superman Story”).
